Two apps.
One shared plan.
Pacer is a calm protein and calorie tracker for members. Pacer Coach is the companion app for the trainer who guides them. Separate products — but the plan a coach sets is the plan a member sees.
For people tracking their own nutrition and progress. Protein target, calorie balance, eating window and Apple Watch activity — the app does the math.

Pacer and Pacer Coach are separate downloads that share one plan. Here's the loop, from the coach's target to the moment they see who needs a nudge.
-
In Pacer Coach
The coach assigns the plan
A daily protein and calorie target per client — set from a quick-pick template or tuned by hand — plus a short checklist to tick off.
-
In Pacer
The member sees it, front and centre
The same target lands on the member's Today screen. No re-typing, no PDF — the number the coach set is the number the member tracks toward.
-
In Pacer
The member logs the day
Quick-add a meal, drag the portion slider, let Apple Watch feed activity. Protein, calorie balance and adherence update as it happens.
-
Back in Pacer Coach
The coach sees who needs attention
The roster re-sorts as data comes in — On track, Steady, Needs attention. The coach spots who's drifting before the week is lost.
Understand your day in one glance.
No blank food diary. Pacer knows your targets and does the math — so opening the app answers one question: where does today stand?
Where the day stands, in plain numbers
The Calorie Balance card reads maintenance − what you've eaten = where you land, with five calm colour zones from under-eating to over. Protein sits right beneath it, tracked against target.
- Protein, carbs and fat vs target — colour-coded rings and bars
- A calorie balance you read like a fuel gauge, not a spreadsheet
- Water and a weigh-in streak, all on one screen
Progress you can actually read
Weight is a trend line with a 7-day average, not a daily verdict. Protein and calorie adherence stack up week over week, so a single bad day never reads as failure.
- Weight trend with 7-day average and change since start
- This week's protein and calories against target
- Optional measurements when you want the fuller picture
One line, from your first log to the week's progress.
Pacer connects the moments that matter into one steady line you can follow — protein, calories, your window, your habits, your trend, and your coach.
-
Checkpoint 01 · Protein
Protein target
Every gram counts toward the day's target, tracked the moment you log a meal.
-
Checkpoint 02 · Calories
Calorie balance
See where the day sits against maintenance, in plain numbers and calm colour zones.
-
Checkpoint 03 · Timing
Eating window
If you eat within a window, a quiet countdown shows what's open — no pressure, just the time.
-
Checkpoint 04 · Routine
Daily habits
A short checklist keeps the day on track — protein, training, steps — without the noise.
-
Checkpoint 05 · Trend
Weekly progress
Protein, weight and workouts add up into a trend you can actually read — week over week.
-
Checkpoint 06 · Together
You and your coach
Invite a coach and the same plan lands on both screens — so guidance arrives at the right moment.
Your whole roster, in one view
Program each client's plan once, then watch adherence as their shared data comes in. The clients who need you float to the top — so a light-touch check-in lands before a week goes sideways.
- Assign daily protein & calorie targets, per client
- Attention states: On track · Steady · Needs attention · At risk
- Weekly adherence, workouts done vs planned, and check-in notes
- Consent-based — clients share their data by invitation

Numbers you can trust — and check
Pacer shows its working. It's a fitness tracker, not a medical device, and it's clear about what's measured and what's an estimate.
Apple Watch & HealthKit
Active energy, distance and workouts read straight from HealthKit with background delivery. Manual entries are never overwritten by a smaller cached value.
Measured from your deviceThe method, shown
Your maintenance uses a clear, coach-style method — bodyweight × 12 as a starting point — with every step visible in the calculator. Adjust it and watch the plan update.
Estimated · you can tune itPrivate by design
The native apps store your log in your own iCloud on Apple's private database — no Pacer account, no third-party servers reading your food diary.
Your data stays yoursCalm on GLP-1 days, too
Appetite can drop sharply on a GLP-1 medication, which makes hitting protein harder than hitting calories. Pacer is built to help you get enough protein on the days you barely feel like eating — gently, without pressure to eat more than you can.
- Protein-first guidance when appetite is low — including easier liquid options
- A calorie balance that stays calm instead of nudging you to eat more than feels comfortable
- Your eating window and habits, tracked the same simple way
Pacer is a nutrition and fitness tracker — it doesn't prescribe or manage medication, replace your doctor or dietitian, diagnose anything, or promise weight loss. Always follow the guidance of the clinician who prescribed your medication.
